What You'll Do
- Architect Cloud Defenses: Design and implement security controls and threat protection strategies across our multi-cloud environments.
- Automate Security Posture: Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform to build and enforce security policies, ensuring consistent and repeatable security configurations.
- Secure the Lifecycle: Champion DevSecOps principles by integrating security tools and processes into our CI/CD pipelines, making security a seamless part of development.
- Manage Cloud Security Tooling: Deploy and manage cloud-native security tools, including Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), Cloud Workload Protection Platforms (CWPP), and SIEM solutions.
- Detect & Respond to Threats: Develop and tune detections for cloud-specific threats. Act as a key responder for security incidents within our cloud infrastructure.
- Govern & Advise: Serve as the subject matter expert on cloud security, providing guidance to engineering teams on best practices for IAM, data protection, and network security.
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience in a cloud security or cloud engineering role.
- Deep technical knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Proficiency in a scripting language like Python, Rust, TypeScript or Go for automation and tooling.
- A solid understanding of container and orchestration security (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with modern security principles and the threat landscape targeting cloud environments.
Nice to have
- Relevant cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer).
- Experience building and securing CI/CD pipelines.
- Contributions to open-source security projects.
