Job Description
We are seeking a Distribution Channel Account Manager to lead and drive our distribution business across Brazil as part of a development in the Americas. Reporting to the Global Distribution Director, this role will focus on executing and developing sales through Distribution and Channel, collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to meet portfolio revenue goals, volume, and price targets.
Role Mission
The Datalogic Distribution Channel Account Manager will drive the increase of Datalogic business working in a dynamic and diverse environment through distributors in collaboration with the Sales teams and facilitate the operations for the region. This role plays a pivotal role in Datalogic’s growth, with Distribution being a key function for the company’s future success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with distributors, understanding their strengths to align with company goals and ensure optimal coverage in the region.
- Develop and execute annual and quarterly sales and marketing plans, driving sales-out performance in line with Datalogic’s strategy.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, conduct business reviews, and adjust strategies to meet targets.
- Drive collaboration between distributors and internal teams (Business Units, Marketing, and Operations) to ensure smooth execution of business plans.
- Ensure appropriate stock levels, facilitate import and certification needs, and support new product introductions and promotional activities.
Qualifications / Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in business, economics, marketing, or other related degree.
- At least 5 years of experience managing distribution partners to include business plan development, contract execution and general partner relationship management.
- Deep understanding of channel and distribution models, with strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
- Proven experience in developing and executing business plans.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
- Experience in some or all of the following areas: bar code scanning, mobile computing, wireless technology (Wifi, WLAN, Bluetooth)
- Negotiation and excellent presentation skills. This person can stand in front of multi-level clients and make compelling presentations.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (50%+ of the time) across the region.
