What You’ll Do
- Analyze and validate equity trading workflows and OMS behaviors
- Conduct FIX protocol testing including certification, message validation, and session management
- Troubleshoot FIX logs to diagnose connectivity and trading issues
- Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive QA test plans and test cases
- Perform manual and automated testing; contribute to test automation where applicable
- Execute performance testing and latency measurement to ensure system efficiency
- Utilize FIX simulators for thorough end-to-end testing
- Support troubleshooting across Linux/Unix and Windows environments
- Perform SQL-based backend testing and data validation
- Collaborate with development, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver robust trading systems
What You Bring
- 7+ years of experience in Equity trading and Order Management Systems
- Deep understanding of full trade life cycle and equity trading workflows
- Expert knowledge of FIX 4.x/5.x message formats
- Hands-on experience with FIX certification and log analysis
- Strong QA experience including functional, regression, and performance testing
- Comfortable working across Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems
- Proficiency in SQL for backend and data validation testing
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills
- Experience working in low-latency, high-pressure financial environments
Nice to Have
- Experience with Fidessa or similar OMS
- Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure
- Experience working in hybrid or remote global teams
Language
Fluent English required (written and spoken)
