Scope:
The São Paulo office is expanding, and we are looking for a Financial Analyst to be based in our office. Financial Analysts work specifically with the group, assisting with a variety of transactions, including creditor- and debtor-side restructurings, regular and distressed mergers & acquisitions and capital raising.

Responsibilities:
- Develop financial models and analyze financial statements, industry developments, acquisitions and divestitures, and various investment attributes of publicly traded and privately held companies
- Work closely with talented, experienced, dedicated professionals, including senior officers, who will give you broad exposure to a wide range of industries and highly complex transactions
- Assist in the preparation of materials for clients, conduct market, industry and company analyses
- Actively be involved in transaction-oriented work for our clients, including buyer, sellers & managers of portfolios across a broad range of financial assets
- Participating in complex negotiations on behalf of our clients
Requirements/Qualifications
- Have a strong academic Quantitative background ideally in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Law or related courses
- Ideally at least 12 months internship in Investment Banking/Corporate Finance (M&A, Private Funds Advisory or Debt/Equity Advisory) or related areas
- Fundamental understanding of valuation theory, methodologies and applications, accounting and finance
- Understanding of financial statements analysis with the ability to work through key assumptions, implicit caveats, and limitations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Portuguese
- Spanish language skills highly favourable
- Independent thinker and resourceful problem solver driven to succeed
- Strong work ethic, organizational skills and ability to multitask is crucial
