Join 3M as a Global Digital Compliance Specialist, where you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Your expertise will play a critical role in ensuring that 3M’s digital content and platforms meet legal, regulatory, accessibility, and brand standards.
The Impact You’ll Make in This Role:
- Partner with global business groups, marketers, and cross-functional teams to create and maintain accessible web content, providing guidance on tools and best practices for building accessible pages, documents, and videos.
- Work with internal and external social media teams to ensure content complies with legal and brand standards, and partner with web design and experience teams to ensure web content meets all regulatory requirements, including accessibility.
- Analyze international accessibility legislation and trends to help define internal standards, collaborating with product owners to assess platform capabilities and address compliance-related gaps.
- Assist Digital Asset Management (DAM) super-users with issues related to accessible content, licensing, and release policies, supporting the management of stock media and digital rights processes.
- Develop and deliver training and communications to enable stakeholders to create compliant and accessible digital content.
- Manage relationships with web accessibility vendors, addressing billing, QA, and UX issues on behalf of the company.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in legal studies, paralegal studies, compliance, or other relevant fields.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams at regional or global levels.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective stakeholder communication abilities.
- Proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, is required.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Previous experience in digital content compliance, legal review, or roles related to accessibility is preferred.
- Strong understanding of digital accessibility principles (e.g., WCAG), legal copy review, and digital marketing practices is preferred.
- Familiarity with content management systems, digital asset management (DAM) platforms, and accessibility tools is a plus.
Work location: This role has on-site working model, with the employee working at least four days a week in the office at Sumaré/SP.
