Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated junior engineer to join our AI team and learn to build AI services using computer vision, machine learning models, and data processing. You’ll help implement new ideas into reliable applications, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to our deviceWISE AI platform.
Objectives & Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and building GPU-accelerated micro-services for vision, LLM, and RAG workloads
- Support the full model lifecycle: data capture, training, evaluation, packaging, and CI/CD deployment (Docker, Kubernetes, NVIDIA NIM)
- Learn inference optimization with TensorRT, ONNX-Runtime, quantization, batching, and Triton
- Help develop agent orchestration logic (LangChain, CrewAI) that chains tools, prompts, and APIs
- Contribute to building and maintaining automated visual inspection systems using computer vision models for quality control, defect detection, and anomaly identification in manufacturing and IoT environments
- Support integration of high-throughput camera or sensor feeds with cloud knowledge bases for multimodal insights
- Document your work and learning progress while following established coding standards and practices
Requirements & Qualifications
- 1-2 years of software development experience with proficiency in Python and basic AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Understanding of basic machine learning concepts including:
- How neural networks work at a high level
- Basic image processing and computer vision concepts
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization
- Basic experience with ML infrastructure tools:
- Basic API development or web frameworks
- GPU computing concepts and basic performance optimization
- Familiarity with building microservices architectures
- Willingness to learn containerization, cloud platforms, and MLOps practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Foundation in software engineering principles, version control (Git), and collaborative development
Preferred Qualifications
- Academic coursework or personal projects involving machine learning or computer vision
- Internship experience with data analysis, software development, or AI applications
- Familiarity with python environment and data science workflows
- Basic understanding of databases and data storage concepts
