As an XTS Lead Engineer, you will work in a team to develop and support products within the Technology and Project's groups. You will perform scientific, and engineering efforts related to the design of new products and services, as well as control requirements and new designs for customer projects. You will deliver projects through the stages of conception, verification, production and, if necessary, commercialization.
As Lead XTS Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a team with expertise and develop leadership within the group
- Leading Cost-out and trade-off exercises using lean and continuous improvement strategies
- Ensuring and promoting good communication across different stakeholders, manufacturing and engineering disciplines
- Showing and carrying constant work organization tightness
- Working collaborative with a global engineering community
- Communicating with Customers in both Portuguese and English language
- Developing Project deliverables and reviewing the work of others, such as but not limited to manufacturing drawings, schematics, P&IDs, procedures, reports, etc.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Bachelor’s in mechanical, Electrical or other Engineering bachelors is required.
- Experience with Subsea Project/Product Engineer background. Emphasis required on pre-salt and deepwater Christmas Tree systems
- Experience with major operators in the market, covering product and project's full lifecycle: Conceptual phase, leading to detail engineering, manufacturing and testing support, and field support.
- Christmas Tree engineering background required for subsea equipment. Knowledge within Vertical and Horizontal Christmas Tree, Tubing Head Spool, Tubing Hanger, Christmas Tree Tooling sets (including Tubing hanger running tool) are mandatory for this role.
- A Solution and Cost driven mindset.
- Proactiveness and engagement to cover daily tasks.
- Quick learning and resilience skill sets to a changing scenario.
- Availability to travel and support work fronts in different locations in the globe.
Desirable
- Skilled in Engineering Database set up and configuration (SAP or Team Center);
- Masters or Pos-graduation in Engineering.
- Skilled in Engineering based software’s (Autocad, Creo, Solid Works, Visio, MSP)
