Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the commodity hedging process and policies for commodity hedge strategy for the Seed business as part of Global Seed Operations organization;
- Create, establish and execute required processes between Global Seed Operations, Controllership, Treasury, Finance, Grower Compensation SPCS areas to enable hedge strategy;
- Calculate and control long and short commodity exposure in the Seed business; understand grower compensation exposures working closely with the regional Seed Operations Leaders and Global Grower Compensation teams; understand production forecasts dynamics;
- Execute and monitor hedging activities ensuring programs are executed within the approved parameters;
- Manage and recommend processes/systems improvement wherever needed to ensure all commodities operations comply with company policies and guidelines;
- Establish and manage requirements for daily, month end and quarter end processes for hedging with derivatives; management reports for risk management of open positions, risks and instruments; manage daily margin requirements;
- Lead local Seed Operations Hedge Committee;
- Connect with key stakeholders regularly to review the business metrics and setup processes to ensure the metrics are met;

Requirements
- Proven experience with commodity risk management and hedging operations (minimum of 7 years);
- Critical thinking of agricultural and commodities business, analytical and problem-solving abilities;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Demonstrable experience in developing business plans and/or projects;
- Trading proven experience of agricultural commodities/ derivatives instruments;
- Fluency in English;
- Degree in Business Administration; Accounting
