Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure adherence to M&R guidelines issued by Head Office.
• Provide comprehensive support to the Regional Logistics team.
• Conduct operational analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved control.
• Validate supplier invoices by comparing them to approved services.
• Coordinate damage recovery processes.
• Monitor and manage claims against local service providers.
Key Experience Areas:
• Proven experience leading audits at container depots, including setting inspection standards, managing repair tariff tables, and analyzing repair estimates will be a differential.
• Cost control management within operational frameworks.
• Skilled in identifying and diagnosing issues, with a proactive approach to implementing efficient solutions.
• Development and optimization of operational processes to enhance workflow efficiency.
Requirements
Required Qualifications and Skills:
• Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
• Certified I.I.C.L. Inspector.
• In-depth knowledge of container repair assessment and estimation.
• Expertise in evaluating and adjusting repair estimates according to industry standards.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Maintenance and Repair (M&R).
• Familiar with UCIRC and CEDEX codes; proficient in Excel.
Will be considered as differential:
• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools and Artificial Intelligence applications.
• Technical training or degree in Refrigeration, Mechanics, or a related discipline.
