With over a decade of experience in the e-commerce space and a strong focus on data-driven decision-making, we are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to help us turn complex datasets into actionable insights.
Position Overview:
We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst who thrives on working with large datasets, building powerful dashboards, and delivering high-impact reports that drive business performance. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining reports across sales, marketing, operations, and supply chain functions while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data tools like Python, Power BI, Google Sheets, and BigQuery, and who can turn numbers into stories.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze business performance trends across sales, marketing, inventory, and operations.
- Deliver clean, insightful, and actionable data reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities in large data sets and communicate findings to the team.
Dashboard Development:
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI and Google Sheets to track KPIs and business metrics.
- Automate regular reporting workflows and ensure data is always accurate and up-to-date.
Data Management:
- Collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Use Python, SQL, and Google Sheets to manage and process large datasets efficiently.
Automation & Scripting:
- Write scripts (Python or Google Apps Script) to automate repetitive tasks and streamline reporting processes.
- Create automated workflows for data updates and report generation.
Cross-Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with supply chain, sales, and leadership teams to align on metrics and reporting needs.
- Support ad hoc data requests for decision-making and strategic planning.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in:
- Python for data cleaning and analysis
- Power BI (or similar dashboard tools)
- Google Sheets and Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, charts)
- Experience with SQL and working with large data sets (BigQuery preferred).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to present data clearly through charts, visuals, and written summaries.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in e-commerce or Amazon-based businesses.
- Familiarity with Google BigQuery and Google Apps Script.
- Experience creating dashboards that support business operations and KPIs.
