Position Summary
The Senior Tax analyst must assist the Tax Manager to guarantee the lndirect Tax compliance on MEB. This professional should: 1. Assist in the systems maintenence to garantee the correct tax calculation 2. Perform and review ali indirect tax routines: Tax calculation, Tax returns, and other tax obligations (related to ICM5, ICM5-5T, Pl5/COFIN5, 155, WHT and others); 3. Create contrais and document standard procedures; 4. Give support and orientation to other departments or involved parties related to taxes in scope.
Essential Job Functions
- Assist in the systems maintenence to garantee the correct tax calculation
- Perform and review all lndirect tax routines: Tax calculation, Tax returns, and other obligations (related to ICM5, ICM5-5T, P15/COFIN5, 155, WHT and others)
- Create contrais to be used by the tax department
- Follow up on tax legislation changes and apply them accordingly to MEB operations.
- Renew and contrai Tax Debts Certificates.
- Give tax support and orientation to other departments, vendors and suppliers.
- Assist the Tax Manager to prepare tax reports and create/review standard procedures in the department.
- Assist other members of the Tax Team.
Position Requirements
- Good English written and spoken is preferred.
- SAP mandatory and Synchro systems knowledge is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge in SAP, MS Excel, Power BI, Solid knowledge in other MS Office applications.
