Summary
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Tax Assistant to join our global Finance team. In this role, you'll support accounting and tax operations, ensuring accurate financial records, tax compliance, and the timely delivery of statutory obligations. You’ll also contribute to audits, automation initiatives, and collaborate with international teams to align with local and global standards (CPC, IFRS). Key Responsibilities:
- Execute tax routines with accuracy and compliance focus;
- Calculate direct and indirect taxes: CSRF, IRRF, PIS/COFINS, ICMS, ISS;
- Preparation and submission of ancillary tax obligations, such as:
- SPED Fiscal (EFD ICMS/IPI),
- SPED Contributions (PIS/COFINS),
- GIA, EFD-Reinf, DIRF, DCTF, etc.;
- Knowledge of tax legislation (municipal, state, and federal).
- Tax classification of products and services;
- Issuance of tax payment slips;
- Filing and management of tax documents.
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure accounting and tax alignment across operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical degree or Bachelor’s in Accounting or related fields;
- Knowledge in accounting and tax routines;
- Practical knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar);
- Advanced Excel skills (Power BI is a strong plus);
- Functional English (for reading documentation and interacting with international teams);
- Analytical, organized, proactive, and strong communication skills;
- Good communication skills for interacting with suppliers, accountants, and public authorities;
- Experience in fast-paced or high-growth environments is a valuable asset.
