About You

We are seeking a key Credit & Collections coordinator who will develop strong customer relationships and protect the company´s accounts receivables.

About the role

The Credit & Collections coordinator will have experience with managing people, conducting performance, conflict and change management skill and the ability to coach and mentoring others. Additionally, the Credit and Collection Team Lead will be effective at inter and intra departmental collaboration.

Main responsibilities:

  • Evaluate credit risk to optimize company sales while reducing bad debt risk and adhering to Global Credit Policy;

  • Manage all collection activities for a portfolio of customers, working with all levels of personnel within internal and customer organizations to resolve any credit and collection issues in a timely and professional manner;

  • Review customer accounts receivable balances researching possible reasons or issue resulting in no-payment.

  • Negotiate and apply payments and credit notes to customer invoices in compliance with Collection procedures and policies;

  • Monitor the accounts receivable aging accuracy and completeness to optimize the DSO;

  • Ability to generate, test and monitor IT tickets relate to system improvements.

Experience required/Skills/Capabilities/Languages

  • 5 years of experience in the Consumer Goods industry (preferably) and experience in leading a team
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Advanced English is required
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
