Description:
The Equities Back Office team is responsible for processing the transactions under Citigroup Global Markets Brazil, supporting the client setup in the local clearing, settlement of the transactions, transfer of shares and other related activities. The Analyst will have contact with different teams such as Business Products, Traders, Legal, Compliance, Regional and global teams. Furthermore it will have contact with external clients to support their requests.
Responsibilities:
- Act as part of the Back Office Team (Cadastro) in its daily activities.
- Client documentation analysis
- Validate Power of Attorney and other mandatory information over the client’s contracts
- Act as point-of-contact for the clients, middle office and business teams
- Intermediate the client setup process with Business, Clients, middle office and back office
- Support on IPOs, Tender Offers and Corporate Action processes.
- Understand the regulatory aspects over the process (B3, BSM,CVM)
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree
- English – Fluent – Writing and Speaking
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Advanced skills at Microsoft Office Excel (VBA knowledge is a plus)
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail whilst demonstrating excellent communication skills
- Excellent organization skills
- Excellent teamwork
- Energetic, enthusiastic, positive and proactive
- Ability to work with tight deadlines, keeping the risk and controls processes
