- Participate in defining procurement strategies and risk mitigation actions with sourcing and project procurement managers
- Execute strategic purchasing activities within defined timeframes and budgets
- Ensure all necessary information is available for issuing inquiries
- Expedite the receipt of vendor bids
- Conduct negotiations with vendors to secure optimal terms
- Prepare purchase order documents on time and ensure accuracy and quality
- Support quality notifications to execute return and/or recovery plans for deliverables at risk due to quality issues or delayed delivery
- Act as a technical expert in a specific purchasing domain, when required
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (projects, engineering, logistics, finance)
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes
- Prioritize and manage a large spend scope to prevent disruptions at manufacturing plants and ensure fulfillment of project milestones and client expectations
- Manage internal escalations and proactively identify opportunities to mitigate risk
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering or equivalent
- Advanced/Fluent level of English
- Have hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP system
- Want to grow and learn through hands on critical and demanding scope
