The Position
As a Clinical Trials Legal and Compliance Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will be responsible for overseeing all legal and compliance matters related to clinical trials in Brazil, ensuring adherence to laws, internal policies, and global compliance standards. More responsibilities will include:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts while providing high-quality legal advice for clinical trial projects. Coordinate external legal support and monitor trial-related legal budgets.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, anticipate and mitigate legal risks, and implement Global and compliance policies.
- Represent Clinical Trials in LATAM and legal/compliance forums, sharing legal insights and developments with relevant teams.
- Provide legal and compliance training to internal teams, reinforcing best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee personal data protection for clinical trials and support the integration of digital solutions in the clinical area.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following qualifications:
- Law Degree with an active OAB;
- Bilingual skills in English and Portuguese.
- Experience working on legal, especially working with the clinical trials industry.
- Knowledge of clinical trials regulations in Brazil is highly desirable.
- Availability to travel when needed.

Our department is committed to providing proactive legal and compliance support, advice, training, and risk assessment, all in compliance with Novo Nordisk policies and external laws and regulations. You will collaborate closely with teams in Brazil, as well as LATAM Legal and Compliance teams, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This role is based in São Paulo, Brazil where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our clinical trials operations.
