In this role, you will work as part of a core team dedicated to bringing the designs and ideas for the next generation of multi-country payroll to life. You will work with teams in multiple countries to plan, design, develop, test, and implement impactful solutions that facilitate improved integration, migration, and implementation solutions within our suite of products and partners.
No two days are the same as you work with your team, internal and external partners to prioritize and design solutions for business initiatives. As a Frontend Application Developer, you will work closely with your team and have a hands-on role designing and developing web applications leveraging your frontend development skills.
To thrive in this role, you'll need to be passionate about solving business problems with technology. It is expected you feel comfortable coding the frontend of the applications you are developing. You must be highly skilled on cutting edge frontend technologies and be able to design a solution and technically lead other developers to bring a design to life. On the backend, it is expected you have enough experience with Spring Boot + REST to build efficient and clean code based on a User Story. On the frontend, it is expected experience with React 16, CSS, HTML, JEST. Java 8, Tailwind and TDD experience is desirable.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Here's what you can expect on a typical day in the life of a Software Engineer at ADP.
- Deliver Solutions. Use your expertise to help deliver complex projects that cut across multiple teams and team members in multiple countries. You need ability to take ownership across this complex landscape to deliver solutions that resonate with the business.
- Variety of work. There is no typical day. You could be checking in with a team across the globe one minute on a specific project, building a new dev component the next, meeting with leadership later in the day to review initiatives for the coming quarter or handling a few ad hoc requests from your peers in other departments
- Influence and inspire confidence. You are comfortable presenting to Principal leaders, product owners, and peers with a compelling voice that you demonstrate through executive presence, leading change, and creating clear executive-level communications on milestone achievements.
- Learning. You’re always learning new technologies and operating with a "figure it out" mentality
- Challenges. You’re comfortable working on products with tech that has never been used before. Inevitable challenges will arise, and we'll rely on you to look for a solution
- Collaborate Daily. You will serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to your clients, internal partners, and overall network while demonstrating grace under pressure and the highest ethical standards.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Familiar with working in an Agile environment (perfect fit SCRUM)
- Experienced using GIT and some repository (perfect fit Bitbucket but GitHub or GitLab are also good)
- Experienced using IntelliJ, Eclipse or any other modern IDE
- Able to work as a regular Developer coding User Stories with Spring Boot and REST
- Experience on frontend technologies: Typescript, Javascript, HTML5, CSS3
- Experience on Angular or React
Desirable:
- Working experience with a public cloud (perfect fit AWS)
- Familiar with Clean Code
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines (perfect fit Jenkins)
