Position Summary
The Email Marketing Strategist will own segmentation strategy, funnel architecture, and performance optimization for assigned client accounts. Success in this role is measured by sustained improvements in revenue per recipient, deliverability, and list health.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop audience segmentation and funnel logic for targeted campaigns and flows using Klaviyo.
- Set account KPIs and performance benchmarks based on historical data and industry standards.
- Review and update all email flows on a monthly cadence, documenting A/B test findings and briefing design for required updates.
- Present growth strategies to clients and translate them into actionable account plans.
- Maintain list hygiene by removing unengaged or inactive contacts and applying deliverability best practices.
- Lead recurring internal and client meetings to review progress, surface risks, and align next steps.
- Coordinate closely with design, copy, and development teams to ensure timely, on-brand execution.
Required Qualifications
- Empathetic and solutions-oriented approach to client objectives.
- Minimum 3 years in email, lifecycle, or related digital marketing roles.
- Demonstrated experience managing Shopify data integrations.
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and collaborate across functions.
- Track record of meeting multiple project deadlines and managing parallel client workloads.
- Working knowledge of deliverability tools and best practices.
- Experience creating flow-chart or journey visualizations (Miro, Lucid, Whimsical, or similar).
- Familiarity with Lean Analytics or other continuous-growth frameworks.
- Receptive to feedback; committed to ongoing professional development.
- Strong attention to detail, time-management discipline, and positive team attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with complementary retention platforms (e.g., SMS, loyalty, or subscription apps).
- Figma skills for effective collaboration with creative teams.
- Prior agency experience serving multiple e-commerce clients.
