About the role
- We seek an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Events Associate, Audience Development, to join our dynamic Events Team. Based in Mexico City, Mexico, this role will support the Events team in strategic initiatives for audience growth and engagement. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least two years of experience in event management or marketing, who is eager to develop within a leading consulting firm dedicated to client engagement and growth, particularly in the public sector and among multilateral and senior business leaders.
What you'll do
- Database Management:
- Maintain and organize Eurasia Group's high-level network of event attendees, focusing on public sector, multilateral, and senior business leaders (C-suite).
- Collaborate with the Events team and cross-departmental teams to expand and manage a diverse attendee network.
- Analytics Reporting:
- Collect, organize, and analyze event data, including registration, attendance, and engagement metrics using tracking tools and audience surveys.
- Prepare detailed analytics reports to be presented to internal stakeholders and select external partners.
- Collaborate with the Events team to design audience surveys and assess engagement levels.
- Website and Email Communications:
- Assist with crafting engaging website copy and executing targeted email campaigns for various attendee groups.
- Develop and manage registration systems, ensuring seamless pathways for different audiences.
- Support the Events team in shaping event programs driven by data insights.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in event management, marketing, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in using design tools and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Cvent or other event management software is preferred.
- Proven ability to manage and analyze large datasets with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Portuguese (preferred).
- Strong organizational skills and a self-starter mindset, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative team player who can also work independently when required.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 2-3 times a year as needed.
