About the team
The Corporate Compliance team is responsible for regulatory landscape of regulated entities as well as act in preventing, managing, and mitigating the financial crime risks, that may occur through the payments we process, for our global customers or the products and services our business provides. Our goal is to be a be a trusted and independent second line of defense control function, in-order to protect Worldpay from financial crime risks.
What you will be doing
As a Fraud Prevention Analyst II, you will be part of the Corporate Compliance team. You will be required to maintain a robust and sustainable framework for risk management controls according to Resolution BCB 98. Also, you will be complying with the obligations posed by the Resolution BCB 142 on the procedures for fraud prevention in the payment services provided by Worldpay do Brasil Instituição de Pagamento Ltda, a payment institution with a license granted by Central Bank in Brazil.
What you bring:
- 1 to 3 years’ experience of providing regulatory compliance advisory services in a global companies’ environment, financial institutions or fintech.
- Monitor the implementation of controls, procedures, and processes to ensure proper adherence of the local policies and CB regulation (Resolution No. 198 and 142).
- Analyze transaction data to identify patterns and trends indicative of fraudulent activity.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of fraud prevention strategies.
- Work closely with internal teams such as Product, Sales, Implementations, and Relationship Management to support on fraud prevention and address day-to-day fraud-related issues.
- Develop and adjust fraud prevention strategies based on emerging threats and trends.
- Utilize machine learning and AI technologies to enhance fraud detection capabilities.
- Test new rules and recommend improvements to existing fraud prevention strategies.
- Good written and verbal communication, both in English and Portuguese, for policies and procedures design and maintenance.
- Have the skills to handle and solve problems, with a minimum supervision, working collaboratively, being part of a wider Corporate Compliance team.

This role will be based in Sao Paulo office in a hybrid mode (2-3 times/week at the office).
