Project Overview
We are looking for an experienced freelance driver based in São Paulo, Brazil, for a one-month automotive testing project with a global technology leader. Starting September 2025, you’ll travel to multiple cities, driving and assessing the latest vehicle models under real-world conditions. Your expertise will help ensure these innovative vehicles are market-ready, safe, and high-performing. Join us for a unique opportunity to shape the future of smart mobility.
Base Location: São Paulo, with regular travel to other Brazilian citiesProject Duration: 1 month (start date: September 2025)Work Schedule: Monday - Saturday, 8 hours per day
Responsbilities:
- Safely drive company vehicles along planned and evolving routes for thorough testing and feature validation in varied conditions (urban, highway, mixed environments).
- Participate in different phases of vehicle preparation.
- Follow specific instructions and schedules provided by the testing team; ensure vehicles are handled according to project safety and compliance standards.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies and best practices for vehicle handling.
- Adhere to safety and operational protocols during all assigned driving activities.
- Assist with route navigation and optimization.
- Provide feedback on vehicle performance and communicate any issues or noteworthy observations to the testing team.
- Native Portuguese speaker; English at minimum B1 level for effective team communication.
- Valid driving license with proven driving experience.
- Demonstrated experience with:
- Professional or commercial driving (automotive, logistics, or similar).
- Navigating major cities and highways across different Brazilian states.
- Adjusting to varied roads and environmental conditions (urban congestion, long stretches, coastal roads, etc.).
- Strong orientation toward safety regulations and defensive driving best practices.
- Availability and flexibility to travel outside São Paulo during the project period.
- Legally eligible to work as a freelancer (preferably with a PE registration).
