Who will you be working with?
The IT PMO (Project Management Office) sits within the overarching IT SOE (Strategy & Operational Effectiveness) that rolls up under our CIO. Our IT PMO governance model is considered to be a "light PMO" that operates in a Hybrid model. As a member of the IT PMO (Project Management Office) team, you will work closely with the IT PMO Director and Project Managers (PMs) inside the IT PMO, as well as PMs, team members, & leaders across the IT Enterprise. Additionally, you may work with other leaders and team members who are a part of the IT Strategy & Process Management team.

As a member of the IT PMO team, Wabtec is looking for an individual to support a best-in-class IT PMO. The IT PMO Analyst role reports directly to the IT PMO Director and is responsible for supporting both the IT PMO and the IT PM community with communications, documentation, change management, and risk management.

- Strong MS Excel skills, including advanced experience with pivot tables and chart skills.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, Smart Sheet, Rally, Service Now SPM, etc., is desirable.
- Project management certification (ie., CAPM, PMP, CSM, CPM, ACP, APM) is a plus.
- Advanced/Fluent English.
What will your typical day look like?
In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to both the IT PMO Director & leaders in the IT community.
- Support our IT community of PMs & team members conducting project work with change management process & methodology guidance, as well as creating & maintaining documentation on our enterprise IT change management process.
- Contribute to the assessment & creation of an enterprise IT change management maturity model & roadmap.
- Establish change management approaches for various types of projects and/or scenarios.
- Manage the Enterprise IT change review gate, supporting all aspects including agendas, notes, reports, dashboards, and stakeholder matrix.
- The candidate for the role of IT PMO Analyst should have a continuous improvement mindset, with both an outward perspective [all things IT PM & IT PMO] and an inward perspective [self].
- Play an integral role in the communication strategy of the IT PMO, authoring & sending/publishing communications to the IT PM community.
- Support our Enterprise IT community with their global communication needs. This may include authoring communications & articles for our internal IT website, emails to be distributed to the IT Enterprise, & other IT communication needs that require a global reach.
- Contribute to the creation of training content for consumption by our IT PM community. This may be in the form of MS PowerPoint presentations, participating/assisting with live training sessions held virtually and/or in person.
- Identify projects, programs, &/or portfolios at risk, helping the teams mitigate & navigate this risk.
- Support the IT PMO with change & risk data capturing, analysis, & reporting, as well as proposing strategies to reduce or eliminate the risk and improve our risk management processes and procedures.
- Capture & maintain Enterprise IT health metrics.
