The Team
Eurofins endeavours to develop all of our software applications in-house to service and support our numerous laboratories globally. With hundreds of thousands of clinical diagnostic tests performed every day, the laboratories of the Eurofins clinical diagnostic services business line strive to ensure that every patient, wherever he or she lives, has access to the most specialized and most innovative techniques for diagnosis, monitoring and therapeutic decisions. Such activities require extensive planning and organisation which can be augmented by the use of technology.
Our Clinical LIMS Europe Program will extensively be used as the central Laboratory Information Management System throughout Europe, this role is crucial in defining and delivering the product roadmap.
Job Description
Test preparation
You will draw up/update your test cases yourself based on specifications and make preparations to be able to carry out your test cases correctly and completely.
- Reviewing the requirements supplied by the customer for completeness, correctness and clarity (reviews)
- Apply black box test design techniques (EP/BVA/Decision Table/State Transition/Use Case)
- Select and prioritize test cases that qualify for automation and/or regression
Test execution
You ensure correct application of the test plan
- Create test log, including Pass/Fail result
- Create Defects, with sufficient test evidence, discuss with developers
- Exploratory testing with inside information
- Automate testing processes with approved tooling
Test Report
Analysis of the test results and associated communication
- Communicate results to the Test Lead
- Provide daily test reports
- Suggest test improvements
Job requirements
- 3 years minimum testing experience
- Experienced with FrontEnd and BackEnd Test Automation
- Experience with testing Desktop Applications (Delphi)
- Some knowledge of test management tools and defect management systems
- Excellent knowledge of Portuguese and English, French or German is a plus
- Analytical mindset
- Great interest and motivation to develop Test Automation in the short term and then implement Automated Processes
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with colleagues and customers
- Experienced with coding test automation scripts
- Programming skills (javascript, python, c#, etc...)
- Knowledge of common development practices (Agile, DevOps, TDD etc)

Education / Qualifications / Knowledge
- Degree Level or Equivalent in relevant subject or demonstrable relevant business experience
Experience / Skills
- Teamwork especially in a complex internal structure. Ability to effectively influence across functions and across sites to first establish shared objectives and then drive the process to achieve those joint objectives.
- Proven communication skills – must be able to build relationships internally across all functions and externally within client organisations (vertically and horizontally, with a view to establish increasingly senior relationships) and other service providers.
- Must be immediately credible at a senior level within Eurofins and client organisations.
- Outstanding communication skills both internally and externally. Ability to understand clients’ requirements and to be able to devise and articulate the most appropriate solutions.
