The Procurement Operations Lead will be responsible for working closely with the Sourcing leadership team to define, manage, and deliver the execution of a number of projects that will support the strategic priorities:
- People
- Results
- Suppliers
- Foundational projects
The Procurement Operations Manager will work with the Procurement Operations team to support the flow material handling requests for the various regions, timely execution of the STP process and manage/develop the local team on knowledge, skills, and career development. This role requires scoping and creating project plans, developing/evaluating processes, coordinating and propelling execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks and process/product changes. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are good to have.
Key Accountabilities
30% of time spent
Supervising a direct team of Procurement Operations professionals with responsibilities across multiple markets and ensure network-wide standardization for all procurement related processes. Develop, train and manage the Procurement Operations team members (provide mentorship). Maximize resource utilization to ensure optimal productivity
30% of time spent
Lead continuous improvement operational efficiency projects including process automation and policy refinements, including the support of training other resources in the organization, and integration activities
20% of time spent
Ensure current procurement processes are operating effectively and seek ways to improve and drive efficiencies. Interface across local procurement teams to implement best practices and consistency
30% of time spent
Issue and supervise the complete Procure to Pay process: Requisitions, Purchase Orders and help manage SAP Workflow resolution. Partner with internal stakeholder and departments such as PTD, AP, Legal, EH&S etc.
