Legal Analyst - CANADIAN SOLAR

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following activities:

• Drafting and reviewing letters, powers of attorney, and contracts of low to medium complexity;
• Preparing corporate documents of medium complexity and supporting corporate governance matters;
• Conducting legal research, including jurisprudence and doctrinal analysis;
• Monitoring and following up on compliance-related matters;
• Preparing internal documents required for contract approvals and supplier onboarding;
• Managing external legal counsel, including coordinating documentation and processing payments;
• Handling payments to legal service providers and maintaining the related controls;
• Assisting with the preparation and organization of legal documents of lower complexity;
• Monitoring and updating licenses, regulatory registrations, and insurance documentation;
• Contributing to legal operations by proposing improvements and helping develop internal processes;
• Supporting the legal team with presentations and spreadsheets (e.g., legal dashboards and reports);
• Ensuring proper document management and control using tools such as CRM systems, DocuSign, among others.

• Law degree or currently enrolled in a Law program;
• Previous experience in legal departments or law firms, preferably with a focus on contracts and regulatory matters;
• Knowledge of Civil and Consumer Law;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management platforms (e.g., DocuSign, CRM systems);
• Excellent command of the Portuguese language, including strong legal writing skills (contract drafting is a plus);
• Advanced English (mandatory); Spanish is considered an asset;
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills;
• Demonstrated teamwork, adaptability, proactivity, and attention to detail.
