Responsibilities:
Compliance with all company policies including without limitation the Employee Manual/Handbook (both local and/or regional), Code of Conduct, Electronic Information Policy, Non-Competition and Confidentiality Agreement, and all other externally applicable standards.
The Market Development Manager collaborates with regional management, marketing and product managers to identify market opportunities, develop effective product strategies, and align regional activities with division goals. This role ensures successful market launches, supports regional events, and facilitates effective communication between distributors and the division to optimize market presence and performance.
Title/Level based on experience.
Remote-based in Latin America.
Will be Responsible for Market Development for our MedSurg specialties in Latin America.
Spanish and English language fluency is required, Portuguese fluency preferred.
Collaborates with regional management and product management to identify opportunities for the assigned region, business segment and product lines.
Executes the right market/right product strategy and operational targets in collaboration with regional business leadership and other stakeholders.

- Conducts market analysis and contributes to business planning and goals for the assigned geography, business segment and product lines.
- Executes product strategies in the assigned market.
- Collaborates with business leadership, marketing, product management and other stakeholders.
- Interact with customers and act quickly to resolve issues and gaps.
- Develop and execute market strategies that ensure the right products are positioned appropriately in target markets, working closely with business leadership and product management.
- Ensure that the assigned market aligns with the division’s strategic playbook.
- Conduct comprehensive market assessments to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
- Coordinate regional product launches, ensuring timely and successful execution.
- Support regional events such as congresses, webinars and other local activities to enhance product awareness and adoption.
- Gather and provide valuable market feedback to the division
- Listen actively to customer feedback, address issues promptly, and identify gaps to improve relationships and market coverage
- College/University degree in related field and/or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience, which may include sales, marketing or business management.
- Demonstrated deep knowledge of marketing, sales, and/or product management for the relevant geographic and/or product markets.
- Demonstrated ability and experience developing and executing plans to implement business strategies.
- Demonstrate leadership skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to think strategically.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Ability and willingness to accommodate global time zone differences, including working after normal hours when the proper performance of your work so requires.
- Work under general office environmental conditions
