The On-Trade Junior Executive is responsible for managing up to 20 small accounts in the on-trade channel, developing new brand materials, conducting activation tests, and overseeing supplier and customer payments. This role also involves performing channel analytics to identify portfolio opportunities and execution strategies to support the broader on-trade sales team.
Role Responsibilities
- Account Management:
- Manage relationships with up to 20 small on-trade accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and sales growth.
- Act as the primary point of contact for these accounts, addressing inquiries and providing support as needed.
- Material Development and Activation Tests:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create new promotional materials tailored for the on-trade channel.
- Conduct activation tests to assess the effectiveness of this new initiatives and gather feedback for improvements.
- Payments Management:
- Oversee supplier and customer payments, ensuring timely processing and resolution of any payment discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to maintain accurate records of transactions and payment statuses.
- Channel Analytics:
- Analyze sales data and market trends to provide insights on account performance and identify execution opportunities.
- Prepare reports on channel performance, highlighting portfolio strengths and areas for growth.
- Support for On-Trade Executives:
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably within the on-trade or hospitality sectors.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience in the FMCG or spirits industry is a plus. (deseable)
