Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Planning Technician to join our Minerals & Metals Business line in São Paulo.
About the role:
- Support the control and updating of the construction physical schedule;
- Collect and consolidate field information regarding the progress of activities;
- Review, comment on, and organize Daily Construction Reports (DCRs) from contractors and suppliers, ensuring consistency and completeness of the information;
- Assist in monitoring performance indicators (S-curve, physical progress, critical path);
- Support resource planning (labor, equipment, and materials);
- Participate in follow-up meetings with technical teams and contractors;
- Identify deviations between planned and actual progress, reporting them to the immediate supervisor;
- Contribute to the preparation of weekly and monthly management reports;
- Ensure that field information complies with company standards and third-party contracts;
- Comply with internal procedures related to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
About you :
- Technical course in: Building Construction, mechanics, electromechanics, construction Planning and Control.
- Project Reading: Ability to interpret blueprints and technical specifications;
- Schedule Development: Create and update execution schedules and physical-financial control plans;
- Planning Tools: Proficiency in software such as MS Project, Primavera P6, and advanced Excel;
- Resource Control: Plan and monitor the use of labor, materials, and equipment;
- Deviation Analysis: Monitor progress and correct deviations in activities and deadlines;
- Standards and Safety: Knowledge of technical standards and applicable safety regulations;
- Experience in electromechanical assembly work for industrial plants.
