Responsibilities
- Create 3D models and detailed technical drawings of components and assemblies using CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA, Creo, or NX).
- Apply simplified engineering analyses for quick project verification.
- Evaluate and interpret simulation results to identify design improvements and ensure the structural integrity of products.
- Work with design for manufacturing (DFM) to ensure projects are optimized for machining, plastic injection molding, casting, and other manufacturing processes.
- Develop physical prototypes and conduct tests to validate product performance, iterating as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, production) to ensure an efficient development workflow.
- Participate in design reviews, providing insights and suggestions for continuous improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA, Creo, or NX).
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, following ASME Y14.5 or ISO 1101 standards.
- Solid understanding of mechanics, materials science, and design principles.
- Experience with manufacturing and production processes, including machining, plastic injection molding, casting, and forming.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Technical English proficiency for reading and writing.
Bonus points
- Experience with CAE simulation (Fusion Simulation, SolidWorks Simulation, or similar tools).
- Experience with high-aesthetic standard injected products, including in-depth knowledge of plastic injection molding processes and technical application details.
