About the Role

The Quality, Risk and Governance area at Diageo strives to improve procurement excellence while minimizing region-specific risks. This role is critical for driving operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with high performance standards while unlocking productivity in the LAC region 

Key Responsibilities 

• Technical Expertise: Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with quality systems and high-quality industry standards. 

• Continuous Improvement: Cultivate a culture of operational excellence and risk mitigation. 

• Capability Building: Develop training programs for the Risk & Governance team. 

• Supplier Management: Work with suppliers to ensure compliance and performance on operational leading industry standards. 

• Risk Identification and Mitigation: Develop robust contingency plans. 

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ensure risks are addressed across departments. 

Qualifications 

• Strong Procurement Process Knowledge (from Sourcing to Business continuity) 

• Strong Risk Management skills to manage multiple tasks and drive value in complex environments. 

• Strategic approach with proven cross-functional team leadership abilities. 

• Solid understanding of operations and supply chain management, with expertise in quality systems and standards. 

• Capable of delivering training and enhancing team skills through clear communication. 

• Skilled in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks in operations and supply chain processes. 

• Experienced in managing procurement processes from planning to performance monitoring. 

• Strong communication in English and Spanish (written and spoken) 

Soft Skills: 

• Proactive approach focused on driving process enhancements. 

• Strong ability to work effectively across departments such as procurement, legal, and operations. 

• Excellent analytical skills for identifying problems and implementing effective solutions. 

• Teamwork orientation and leadership qualities.
