The Equities Back Office team is responsible for ensuring that the client trades, among others, are carried out accurately and on time, working as a team and attending all necessary post-trade procedures with the Broker's Back Office team, such as supporting the client setup in the local clearing, settlement of the transactions, custody transfer, cash and positions reconciliations and other related activities.
As Equities Back Office Analyst you will be the point of contact between different teams such as Business Products, Traders, Legal, Compliance, Regional and global teams, and external custodians and brokers in the market. The overall objective of this role is to provide day-to-day operational support in alignment with the infrastructure and processes, supporting the business strategy, optimizing performance by influencing decision making, enabling execution of strategic initiatives, and help ensure the business operates within Citi controls requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Support and interaction with other areas of Citi Brokerage and market participants to ensure the execution of the entire post-trade process of the Citigroup Global Markets Brasil
- Work in the settlement, custody, pre-match and investigation of trades for Equities and Fixed Income transactions
- Support and interaction with other team representatives, being a back-up of the area's activities
- Proactivity in seeking new knowledge and suggesting new ideas, continuously contributing with suggestions and implementing solutions
- Intermediate the client setup process with Business, Clients, middle office and back office
- Assist in investigations, research and general reporting for clients and senior management
- Assist in the preparation and updating of the area's controls and procedures
- Attendance to internal and external audits requests (BSM B3, CVM, KPMG)
- Ensure compliance with Citibank's policies and procedures
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree
- English – Fluent – Writing and Speaking
- 5+ years of experience in relevant operations roles
- Experience with processing, matching and settling trades in the B3
- Solid experience in Fixed Income and Derivatives operations processes
- Advanced skills at Microsoft Office Excel (VBA knowledge is a plus)
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail whilst demonstrating excellent communication skills
- Great organization and communications skills
- Excellent teamwork and proactiveness
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking
- Ability to work with tight deadlines, keeping the risk and controls processes
- Sinacor and/or Brokertools – INOA or related system knowledge
