Skills and Competencies.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the financial services industry, ideally in business development, sales, or client relationship management..
- Familiarity with Moody’s Local services and strong knowledge of capital markets and financial instruments, including debentures, FIDCs, CRAs, CRIs, and letras financeiras.
- Proven expertise in financial analysis, assessing credit risk, interpreting financial statements, and evaluating financial strategies, with a record of driving retention and revenue growth.
- Commercial acumen with a deep understanding of Brazilian debt capital market dynamics and the ability to leverage data for informed decision-making and strategy development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (mandatory) and Spanish (preferred), with excellent interpersonal skills to influence and engage stakeholders effectively.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), including creating high-quality presentations, marketing materials, and client deliverables.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines while working independently or within diverse, multicultural teams. Availability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
Responsibilities.
- Provide essential sales support as part of the local commercial team, to maintain and grow portfolios of new and existing customers.
- Support in defining and updating account strategic plans for outreach, issuance coverage, revenue, and business lines, working autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Prepare client and prospect meeting materials and handle post-meeting follow-ups.
- Maintain CRM accuracy, create sales opportunities, draft contracts and proposals, and manage Pricing Exceptions.
- Lead Request for Proposals (RFPs) by coordinating inputs from internal teams (Legal, Finance, Compliance, accounting), drafting responses, and managing deadlines and submissions.
- Produce relevant Issuer Value Statements, charts, and business data insights.
- Monitor market trends, support lead generation, and identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Organize event/conference planning, pre-meeting preparations, and contribute to marketing campaigns and regulatory tasks.
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Accounting, and other internal teams to resolve issues.
- Manage reports and queries in CRM, ensuring data accuracy and completeness in Power BI dashboards.
- Respond to Commercial Manager inquiries and oversee the Withdrawal process for documentation.
About the team
The Sales Team drives business expansion and develops new client relationships within Brazil. Their primary focus is to support sales efforts, increase mandates and revenue, and enhance market presence in domestic financial sectors.
