What you'll do:
As a Product Development Engineer, you will be responsible to preserve the alignment between the technical deliverables and project constrains of timing, scope and costs. You also play a critical role in consolidating budget data, ensuring alignment within project estimations, and facilitating the implementation of common tools and processes. Additionally, they provide technical leadership and support for VA and VE analysis, quality improvement initiatives, new ways of working, and advanced development projects.

In detail, you will:
Lead technical discussions, guide engineering decisions, and ensure technical consistency and integrity across the project. Support team members, promoting knowledge sharing and upskilling.
Contribute to architecture, platform, and module roadmaps to support long-term technical strategy by promoting standardization, modularity, and reusability across designs.
Collaborate with the Project Leader to define technical milestones, timelines. Coordinate subsystem and component integration into the overall product.
Ensure compliance with internal standards, industry regulations, and customer requirements. Lead technical reviews and gate assessments to monitor design maturity and quality considering SCR and Cstar targets. Support field test activities.
Ensure to achieve the cost targets leveraging on support should cost analysis, benchmarks and teardowns.
Identify technical risks early, evaluate impact and likelihood, and define risk mitigation strategies. Support the Project Leader in handling technical escalations and implementing recovery plans when needed.
Ensure completeness, accuracy, and accessibility of technical documentation (CAD, BOMs, etc.). Promote the correct usage of PLM and digital tools (Team Center, PPM, etc.) for effective project tracking and data management.
Act where possible as the single technical interface for the Project Leader and stakeholders across R&D, ME, quality, and procurement. Chair technical meetings with multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring alignment and clear communication. Share lessons learned, best practices, and technical insights across platforms and teams.
As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).
Who you are:
You have:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field;
Consolidated experience in both product development and introduction of new technologies (experience on CARE products development is going to be a plus);
Solid level knowledge with program/project management as well as gated product development process;
Advanced Office skills;
Advanced English.

You will be based at the Guabirotuba plant in Curitiba. One of the focal points for all Latin American Electrolux operations, this plant is the base for over 3200 collaborators, all focused on transforming the way the world lives by shaping lives for the better with their work.
