Team Function:
Advanced analytics for personal lines insurance teams, including business analysis from statistical analysis to advanced Machine Learning modeling to describe and predict business outcomes to enable business to make data-informed decisions. Develops and manages advanced analytics products for personal lines business.
The Associate Decision Scientist will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights, developing robust statistical models, and supporting business decisions through advanced analytics.
Role Description:
- Conduct advanced statistical analysis to answer business questions.
- Develop advanced business analytics dashboards.
- Develop automated ETL processes, dashboard and reporting refresh processes.
- Develop descriptive and predictive machine learning models.
- Design and implement statistical and predictive models to support business strategy
- Build standardized models within ELT (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
- Develop analytical reports and dashboards using BI tools
- Learn and apply internal company data, with a focus on insurance
- Collaborate with analytics teams and data resources to maximize insights
- Serve as a technical reference for statistical analysis and predictive modeling
- Contribute to the definition of KPIs and metrics for this newly formed team
