We are seeking a capable resource to coordinate a range of activities, from simple tasks to more complex plans. This role will provide onsite/ on-call assistance to end-users within the organization’s desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.
The Dispatch AV Technician will provide on-site and remote support for AV and IT systems. This role requires a proactive, tech-savvy individual with solid troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to service dispatches for AV setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance
Install, configure, and test AV systems: projectors, VC systems, speakers, displays, control systems (Crestron, Extron)
Support IT hardware (PCs, routers, printers, switches) and basic network issues
Maintain logs, resolve service tickets, and liaise with internal and client-side teams
Communicate technical details clearly to non-technical users
Stay up to date with AV/IT trends and tools
Technical Skills & Qualifications
2–3 years in AV or IT technician roles
Familiarity with AV platforms (Crestron, Extron, Cisco, Logitech, Polycom)
Basic network/system troubleshooting (Windows, MacOS, Linux)
Experience with Zoom, Teams, and Google Meet
Valid driver’s license + ability to travel
Technical certifications or an Associate’s degree are a plus
Additional Requirements
On-call flexibility (early mornings, evenings, weekends)
Ability to lift and transport AV equipment
Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
