Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of FX markets and eFX trading workflows
  • Deep knowledge of FIX 4.x/5.x message formats
  • Experience with FIX certification and message validation
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and analyzing FIX logs
  • Proven experience in designing and executing QA test plans and test cases
  • Familiarity with manual testing and automated testing frameworks
  • Experience with performance testing and latency measurement tools
  • Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix and Windows environments
  • Knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills
  • Attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and validate eFX trading workflows and liquidity provider integrations
  • Conduct comprehensive FIX protocol testing, including certification, message validation, and session management
  • Review and troubleshoot FIX logs to identify connectivity and trading issues
  • Design, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and regression test suites
  • Perform manual testing and contribute to automated testing efforts
  • Conduct performance testing and latency measurements to ensure optimal system performance
  • Use FIX simulators and other tools for thorough end-to-end testing
  • Troubleshoot and analyze issues across Linux/Unix and Windows environments
  • Perform data validation and backend testing using SQL
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure trading workflows meet requirements and industry standards
