International Report – IFRS and FP&A - Latam, will perform the duties for SCOR Brazil, ESSOR and SCOR Argentina:
Key duties and responsibilies:
- Business Performance: Analyses the performance and result by segment and line of business under IFRS 17.
- In charge of all accounting related to tasks of the Reinsurance companies Life and P&C and Insurance Essor related to International Report
- Explain the variation of Actual x plan x forecast. Provide Business Report that can help the Officers to understand the figure and help business decision.
- Responsible for account reconciliations for IFRS ledger for SCOR Brazil, Argentina and ESSOR Insurance.
- Review and ensure that all accounting postings are in line with IFRS 17.
- Manage closing process for Group SCOR. Responsible for Sign Off and monitoring closing KPI´s.
- Monitor manual postings based on approval matrix (formalization process) under IFRS Ledger;
- Work together with TA team to fix issue in interfaces in line with accounting methodologies standards – IFRS 17.
- Participating with internal meeting with Group and local stakeholders.
- Preparing Walk between Baseline IFRS 4 and IFRS 17.
- Monitoring EGPI Closing and Loss Ratio – LR.
- Validation Report send by Bogotá vs SAP.
- Prepare Managerial reports and presentations to Committees and Board Meeting.
- Operational systems tools. Preferable SAP
- Strong knowledge IFRS, financial instrument. IFRS 17 preferred.
- Multi-company’s in FP&A area.
- Plan and Forecast performance.
- Operational planning/ forecast expenses and cost centers allocation.
- Control P&L and business performance.
- Budget & forecast preparation and report.
- Strong professional experience >10 years and > 5 years in Finance and FP&A.
Required Eduacation:
- Bachelor degree in Administration, Accounting, Economy, Actuary or other Finance area
- Finance and Controllership MBA preferred.
Required Competencies:
- Excellent analytical skills
- Proficiency with a major general ledger system (SAP);
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, Powerpoint;
- Good oral and written communications skills;
- Ability to work in a dynamic workplace setting adhering to strict timelines;
- Detail and organized in work.
- Fluency in English.
- Portuguese and Spanish preferred.
