The Role
As our Head of Brand in Brazil, you’ll build on Luzia’s existing brand foundation and bring it to life locally, adding the cultural nuance and emotional depth that resonates with Brazilian users. You’ll craft a distinctive, human brand presence that feels both consistent with our global identity and uniquely relevant to the local market. You’ll lead the charge in shaping how millions of people experience and connect with Luzia, working cross-functionally to build a brand that drives love, loyalty, and organic growth — positioning Luzia as the most trusted and beloved AI assistant in one of our most important markets.
What You’ll Do
Build and define Luzia’s brand in Brazil — identity, and voice to reflect the cultural context, emotional tone, and everyday realities of our Brazilian audience.
Create emotional connections with users — craft narratives, campaigns, and experiences that go beyond utility and build lasting emotional bonds with millions of users.
Champion brand consistency — ensure a unified voice and visual identity across all touchpoints: product, marketing, tech, and talent.
Manage Public Relations and storytelling efforts — partner with Brazilian agencies and internal teams to build earned local media strategies and tell stories that resonate with both mainstream and underserved communities.
Collaborate across teams — work hand-in-hand with product, growth, comms, and design to bring brand ideas to life and make sure everyone internally is aligned around a clear brand mission.
Translate insight into impact — lead research efforts on market positioning, user sentiment, and competitive dynamics in Brazil, acting as the closest voice to our users and ensuring their needs, culture, and perspective shape brand decisions at every level.
Use content and influencers as strategic tools — partner with local creators, ambassadors, and users to grow organic reach and relevance.
Drive organic brand growth — focus on strategies that scale awareness and engagement through word-of-mouth, content, SEO, and product-led storytelling — not just paid media.
Manage budgets and agency partners — oversee brand-related investments, including agency collaborations ensuring high return and aligned execution.
What We’re Looking For
A strategic brand builder who’s done this before in Brazil— ideally in a high-growth consumer tech company or strong brand-led startup.
Deep experience in brand, mobile, and PR — you know what it takes to launch and scale brand presence in the Brazilian market.
A strategic operator — able to zoom out and set long-term direction, while also rolling up your sleeves to execute or manage projects day-to-day.
Stay deeply connected to our audience — read comments and reviews, engage directly with users, and immerse in the behaviors, trends, and desires of Brazilian young adults to continuously adapt our messaging and brand voice.
Obsessed with the user — you’re constantly engaging with users and deeply in tune with Gen Z and Millennials, our core audience. You draw insight from their behaviors, language, and culture to craft brand experiences and messaging that genuinely resonate.
A storyteller at heart — with a gift for creating narratives that spark curiosity, trust, and emotion.
Fluent in visual and emotional branding — with strong creative sensibility and the ability to direct top-tier brand work.
Collaborative to the core — able to inspire teams, work across functions, and align stakeholders behind the brand vision.
Analytically sharp and resource-savvy — focused on high-impact, measurable initiatives and able to prioritize what moves the needle.
Tuned-in to Gen Z & Millennials — you intuitively speak their language, tap their cultural cues, and craft experiences that land with Brazil’s digital-native generations.
AI-savvy experimenter — eager to explore, question, and ship breakthrough AI features that put cutting-edge tech directly in users’ hands.
Fluency in English is required; Spanish is a plus.
Bonus Points
Experience working at a tech startup or fast-scaling mobile app in Brazil.
Track record of working closely with product and growth teams to align brand and user experience.
Ability to balance instinct and data — you know when to trust the numbers and when to lead with bold intuition.
