Amazon is seeking dynamic Inventory Planners to join our FBA team in São Paulo, Brazil.
As an Inventory Planner, you will play a crucial role in optimizing inventory management and availability for Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) strategic sellers. Your primary focus will be on enhancing operational efficiency, reducing Out of Stock (OOS) selection, and maintaining healthy inventory metrics. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment where tactical and strategic activities happen in parallel. In this position, you will focus on helping sellers with operational challenges to better align their logistics processes with FBA, optimizing inventory management and availability, analyzing supply chain problems, building the Supply Chain strategy for key accounts, and delivering the best experience for our customers. You will be responsible for inventory forecast planning, inventory replenishment execution, and operational improvements, acting as a key point of contact for inventory management for a segment of sellers. You will work on identifying opportunities to simplify and automate tasks, ensuring that inventory systems and processes meet business needs by implementing controls over them. The ideal person will have the energy to handle an environment where tactical and strategic activities happen in parallel. In this position, you will manage strategic sellers, working autonomously to deliver the service. You will also be responsible for implementing scalable process improvements that will impact the entire FBA seller base.

Key job responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels and provide data-driven replenishment recommendations to strategic sellers to optimize selection performance
- Analyze supply chain operations and identify root causes of operational challenges (out-of-stock, availability, inventory turnover, lead time, replenishment, confirmation rate, forecast, etc.)
- Develop and execute joint action plans with partners to resolve inventory issues and conduct regular progress reviews with strategic sellers to ensure sustainable results
- Cooperate and build trust-based relationships with key stakeholders across all organizational levels (including account managers, team leads, inbound team, inventory health team, operations team, and S&OP team)
- Lead regular business reviews to track progress, implement solutions, and drive long-term performance improvements
- Organize and manage continuous improvement projects with sellers to enhance operational efficiency
- Develop and implement scalable automated solutions to standardize processes (including resource planning, stakeholder communication, problem-solving mechanisms, and reporting automation)
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- Advanced English proficiency
- Experience in product/category management or commercial planning
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, and/or supply management
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of statistical inventory control principles
- Proficiency in SQL and database concepts
