As Product Designer at Quorum you will apply user-centered design methods to craft user experiences through the entire product design life cycle, from concept to development. You will solve complex and real-world problems as you collaborate with cross-functional partners. You will ensure the product is valuable and easy to use for people. You’ll be responsible for owning and completing epics in an Agile Development Environment, updating the Design System with new components, and maintaining and optimizing the Design System for stakeholders to use. As needed, you’ll also help facilitate user research through various methods.
This role reports directly to Quorum’s Manager of User Experience.
What You’ll Do
First Week: Learn about Quorum’s products, users, and design principles. Get to know your product team and the design team’s tools and processes.
First Month: Start contributing to ongoing feature designs within your product team. Familiarize yourself with the design system and front-end stack to improve design-to-dev handoffs.
First Six Months: Deliver complete designs for key product features. Identify and address minor usability issues, implementing measurable improvements.
First Year: Be a go-to person for high-quality visual design in your product team. Contribute to cross-product usability improvements and design system enhancements. Work closely with developers and product management for product development. Work with developers to further iterate on designs during implementation. Demonstrate ability to be generative with design explorations, with diverse perspectives on ideas. Proactively share work in progress
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- You have 2+ years full-time professional experience working in digital product design role (e.g., UX/UI Designer, Product Designer) at a software company or design agency where software product design is a core function.
- You have a strong, up-to-date online professional portfolio showcasing at least three (3) case studies and high quality examples explaining why and how you have solved product design challenges.
- You are proficient in Figma professionally for at least one year as a product designer and are excited to continue to build out your knowledge.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- You have proven experience designing interfaces for enterprise applications, with a strong portfolio demonstrating visual design expertise.
- You are knowledgeable in modern front-end technologies and frameworks, particularly React and Mantine, and can collaborate effectively with developers.
- You have worked within product teams, managing the full design process from research to delivery.
- You take pride in creating intuitive, visually appealing, and accessible user interfaces.
- You’re an especially strong candidate if you have experience with Redux and conducting usability audits.
