Job Description
What you'll do
- Manage product planning and backlog prioritization based on business value
- Alling product solutions and backlog to Pismo's strategy
- Support Pismo to provide solutions for financial accounting, considering different financial products, clients and models of accounting
- Responsible for entire product life cycle, from conception, design, development, testing, release and operation
- Be responsible for the conception, delivery and prioritization of product roadmap optimizing the value delivered for clients (current and future ones) and to Pismo
- Work and cooperate with multiple teams when necessary to assure that any cross squads demands are delivered in a proper and complete way
- Support product presentations and provide product expertise for addressing the best solutions for clients and markets, within the product
- Improve, with the squad and internal teams, product design that ensure scalability, performance and reliability.
- Manage expectations and deadlines for bugs, services requests and help the squad to understand the accounting 'language' to a systemic solution.
This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.
- 6+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experience as product manager (product owner, or similar positions) with tech products (3 to 5 years)
- Deep experience and knowledge of accounting concepts
- Problem solving and critical thinking
- Communication skills and team working
- Specific knowledge about financial accounting for card transactions
Desirable Qualifications
- Knowledge of payment cycle (at least the basic)
