In this role, you will be responsible for a product, platform or multiple product capabilities, including inception, discovery, solutioning, development, testing, and roll-out.
Role Responsibilities
- Delivers solutions within an agile software development lifecycle process and coordinates project launches with global change management teams.
- Expected to manage and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to create aligned backlog against a future-state solution.
- Continuously challenges the status quo and influences the product/platform strategic priorities.
- Creates and maintains business cases for multiple product capabilities and features.
- Delivers solutions within an agile software development lifecycle process and coordinates project launches with global change management teams.
- Defines and tracks KPIs and OKRs that can be used in executive reporting.
- Conducts comparative/benchmark analysis against competitors and conducts technology research to propose modernization and innovation.
- Sets strategic objectives, prioritization principles and philosophy; leads development of 12-month product roadmap and release plan; focuses team on emerging technology, emerging trends, and opportunities
- Revises, prioritizes and triages initiatives for resource allocation; works with stakeholders to synchronize work and make prioritization trade-off decisions, coordinates with Agile Teams and stakeholders to agree on goals, priorities and dependencies; reviews stories when required
Role Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience in Financial Services, preferably payments.
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in business or engineering.
- Product Management Skills: demonstrated product management skills including working knowledge of agile methodologies and end-to-end execution of the Product Development Lifecycle
- Project Management Skills: demonstrated project management skills including the ability to create a project plan, planning and coordinating, organization, adaptability, and execution.
- Communication Skills: Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proven problem-solving skills, a robust technological background, and an understanding of business processes.
- English proficiency is a must.
