Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
Job Description
Plan and support the production manager in all activities related to the OP calendar for E! in Brazil, including developing production plans and determine workflow requirements.
Develop cost effective production solutions while maintaining high quality and productivity.
The Specialist will assist Production Executives in managing and supporting all assigned TVD licensed and in-house production.
In addition to front line communication with each production company, the Specialist will facilitate the creation, tracking, and transfer of relevant information and materials to the various departments within the involved areas.
Responsibilities
- Lead editorial and technical supervision of shows from development to delivery, ensuring quality, deadlines, and brand alignment.
- Provide clear, constructive, and solution-oriented feedback throughout all stages of production (scripts, art concepts, video cuts, promotional materials) for manager’s approval.
- Oversee schedules, archiving, and documentation, maintaining rigorous project control.
- Manage production partnerships and coordinate talents’ schedules, travel logistics, and on-location needs.
- Monitor production talents’ social media behavior to identify trends and opportunities aligned with the project.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Sales, Creative, Distribution) to meet production requirements.
- Source competitive, high-quality vendors and freelancers.
- Support the department manager in planning, executing, and monitoring production operations and strategies.
- Assist in identifying topics and talents that resonate with the local audience.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communication (Journalism or Radio & TV) or Cinema.
- Speaking, writing and reading in English and Spanish fluently. High proficiency in both languages is a strong advantage.
- At least five years-experience as a producer or other related experience for TV.
- Experience in digital content and video editing, is desirable.
- Experience in MS Office environments (Excel, Word & PPT).
- Ability to create great presentations (Keynote and PPT) and manage Excel spreadsheets.
- Knowledge of Ancine regulations, co-production mechanisms and Brazilian legislation for the audio-visual sector is a strong advantage.
