Job SummaryWe are structuring our operations in Brazil with a high degree of fiscal and regulatory responsibility, and we are seeking a professional with technical seniority and strategic vision to lead the accounting and tax departments locally.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly accounting close, preparation of financial statements, and compliance with ancillary obligations (ECF, ECD, DCTF, among others).
- Ensure the correct calculation and collection of direct and indirect taxes (IRPJ, CSLL, PIS/COFINS, ISS, IOF).Coordinate the submission of sector-specific regulatory obligations, such as the declaration of crypto asset transactions (RFB Normative Instruction No. 1,888).
- Lead the transition of operational processes currently performed by BPO to an in-house structure, ensuring continuity and improvement.
- Conduct fiscal and structural feasibility studies to optimize the tax burden.
- Support the structuring of national and international legal and operational vehicles, aligned with the group's corporate governance.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, cash flow, bank reconciliation, and payment policies.
- Implement and administer financial control tools appropriate to the operation.
- Establish internal controls, prepare the operation for external audits, and support due diligence and regulatory licensing processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with active CRC (Brazilian Corporate Taxpayer Registry).
- Solid experience (minimum 5 years) in accounting, controllership, and tax management.I
- In-depth knowledge of the Real Profit regime and the ancillary obligations required by medium and large companies.
- Prior experience in fintechs, exchanges, digital banks, or financial technology companies.
- Familiarity with complex corporate structures and reporting routines to global stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel and proficiency in financial control and analysis tools.
- Intermediate to advanced English (reporting and communication with a global team).
