Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for an Asset Management Consultant, Senior (Structural Integrity) to join our Consulting Business line in the in Belo Horizonte - MG office.
About the role:
- Lead Structural Integrity Assessments;
- Conduct advanced assessments of structural components and systems to evaluate integrity, detect damage mechanisms, and estimate remaining life;
- Develop Inspection and Monitoring Programs;
- Design and implement risk-based inspection (RBI) strategies, including NDT (non-destructive testing) techniques and structural health monitoring systems;
- Perform Failure Analysis and Root Cause Investigations;
- Lead technical investigations of structural failures or anomalies, applying engineering principles to determine root causes and corrective actions;
- Ensure Compliance with Engineering Codes and Standards;
- Interpret and apply relevant structural and industry standards (e.g., API 579, ASME, Eurocode, ISO, DNV, NORSOK) to ensure regulatory and technical compliance;
- Design and Review Structural Modifications;
- Provide engineering guidance for repairs, reinforcements, or modifications of critical infrastructure and equipment;
- Support Asset Integrity Management Systems (AIMS);
- Integrate structural integrity data into broader asset integrity and asset management frameworks, ensuring alignment with business and safety goals.
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree or technical degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
- 8 - 10 years’ minimum experience in a similar role;
- Training in Industry Codes & Standards;
- Proven knowledge or certified training in standards such as: API 579 / ASME FFS-1 (Fitness-for-Service), DNVGL-ST / ISO 19900 Series (offshore structures) ASME, AISC, Eurocode, or NORSOK standards
- Advanced English.
