Job Description:
Location: Sao Paulo, Brazil
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Supporting the drafting, review and negotiation of contractual documents, applying technical knowledge and critical thinking
Strategic advice on legal issues to subsidiaries in Brazil and Latin America
Advising on legal aspects in relation to Privacy and Personal Data Protection legislation
Identifying and analyzing legal risks for the company, proposing solutions and mitigation.
Supporting the implementation and maintenance of compliance and corporate governance programs.
Representing the Legal Department on the committees assigned to it, when necessary.
Facilitating training sessions
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor Law degree
Experience in legal departments, preferably in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or related industries.
Knowledge of personal data laws
Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with internal and external peers
Fluency in English and intermediate Spanish essential
Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams;
Excellent organizational skill, ability to manage multiple projects at once and follow through deadlines;
Strong computer skills;
Demonstrated ability to manage highly sensitive information;
Excellent planning, organization and time-management including the ability to adapt to changing priority and deadlines;
Demonstrated commitment to quality and attention to detail
