Primary Responsibilities:
· Supports assessments, as needed, on health-related medical topics relevant to consumer products such as OTCs, skin care, allergy, and upper-respiratory products, from the perspective of the epidemiology of the condition or the epidemiology issues involved in its measurement.
· Assists in the provision of therapeutic area (e.g. pain, digestive health, skin health, allergy, and upper-respiratory) knowledge support and clarification of science as needed.
· Assists in conducting and evaluating literature searches and performs in-depth review/analysis of scientific, medical/clinical literature and relevant guidelines and official documentation.
· Reviews documents and manuscripts focusing on the medical and epidemiologic soundness.
· Alerts and escalates to senior members whenever project delivery risks are observed, or issues are encountered impacting the quality and delivery schedules.
Secondary responsibilities:
· Actively participates in department initiatives and process improvements.
· Complies with the QMS/ISMS/PIMS & Company Policy
· Contribute towards the achievement of Quality Objectives.
· Ensures training and timesheet compliance.
· A minimum of MD, PharmD, PhD, RPh, or equivalent life science degree
· Industry experience is desired
· Background in Public Health or quantitative methods are a plus
· Experience within the Consumer Healthcare industry preferred
