Job Summary
The DevOps Engineer supports infrastructure setup, environment configuration, deployment pipelines, and caching systems. Although the client may own CI/CD implementation, this role ensures deployment readiness, observability, and performance optimization.
Responsibilities
Set up and maintain dev/staging environments and deployment scaffolding.
Configure Redis/CDN for fast Media Kit access and cache busting workflows.
Ensure observability via logs, metrics, and alerts
Support safe and repeatable deployments for both frontend and backend.
Qualifications and Job Requirements
Proficient in CI/CD automation tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
Experience with containerization using Docker
Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
Experience with Redis and CDNs (e.g., Cloudflare) for caching and content delivery
Familiarity with staging-to-production pipelines and rollback strategies
Ability to set up and manage development and staging environments
Skilled in implementing observability tooling: logs, metrics, and alerts (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, CloudWatch)
Strong collaboration and communication skills in remote team environments
