Volvo Trucks Latin America is looking for a Senior People & Culture Business Partner (P&C BP) to join our team in Curitiba, Brazil, and play a key role in supporting the growth and success of our Trucks business.

This is an on-site role in Curitiba, where you will be immersed in our culture, build close partnerships with leaders and teams, and directly influence the future of our business.
What you will do
As Senior P&C Business Partner, you will be the strategic link between people and business performance. Acting as a trusted advisor to leaders, you will ensure that People & Culture initiatives drive Volvo Trucks’ success in Brazil.
Key responsibilities include:

Serving as an active member of management teams, providing strategic HR advice and solutions.

Aligning P&C strategies and actions with business goals and translating them into impactful actions.

Leading talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership development.

Coaching and guiding managers to strengthen engagement, performance, and team effectiveness.

Acting as Engagement Ambassador and Change Manager in organizational initiatives and surveys.

Promoting Volvo’s values and leading cultural transformation initiatives.

Supporting compensation, workforce planning, and organizational development activities.

Ensuring compliance and communication of P&C policies, directives, and legislation.
- Using data and analytics to influence decisions and continuously improve people practices.

You are an experienced HR professional who combines a strategic mindset with hands-on partnership. You thrive in dynamic, complex environments, build trust with stakeholders at all levels, and know how to inspire people to perform with passion and commitment.
Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR, or a related field (advanced HR qualification valued).
- Proven solid experience as an HR business partner in large, complex organizations.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to coach leaders, manage change, and resolve conflicts.
- Skilled at handling sensitive information and managing multiple priorities.
- Experience with HRIS platforms (such as SuccessFactors, Workday, or similar) is considered a strong plus.
- Proficiency in Office 365 and HR database tools.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English; Spanish is a plus.
- Comfortable working across cultures and virtual environments.
