We're looking for a part-time Social Media Graphic Designer with strong design skills and motion expertise to craft visually compelling thumbnails, static posts, and cover photos across all of our social platforms. This role requires creativity, brand consistency, and the ability to turn SEO and AI-driven concepts into engaging visuals that elevate our presence and performance.
Responsibilities
- Design YouTube thumbnails optimized for click-through rate (CTR)
- Create Instagram carousel slides, static posts, and Reels covers
- Design LinkedIn graphics tailored for B2B engagement
- Develop cover photos for Shorts, videos, and highlight thumbnails
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to align visuals with messaging
- Iterate quickly on feedback to meet tight publishing schedules
- Maintain brand consistency across all social media platforms
- Apply best practices for platform-specific formats and dimensions
- Suggest new creative directions based on performance trends and data
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing for social media
- 5+ years of experience with Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects and Animation/motion graphics proficiency
- Portfolio of engaging, platform-native social media content (especially YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn)
- Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, brand identity, and motion graphics
- Ability to turn technical/SEO/AI concepts into engaging visual storytelling
- Proficient in English with clear communication and feedback integration skills
- Comfortable working remotely and managing multiple creative assets in parallel
- Highly detail-oriented and organized with a strong design aesthetic
Salary & Benefits
- $12-$15 per hour/depending on your location and skills/experience
- 15-20 hours 3-5 days/week
